Currently TomTom is looking for XUL developers for the HOME project.

Background Information

We are developing TomTom HOME 2.0 that will be a flagship product based on the Mozilla engine. XUL/JavaScript/AJAX/DHTML developers

Required qualifications & competencies:

* Substantial experience with JavaScript & DOM (3 years)
* Mastery of XHTML, CSS
* Able to work under strict deadlines
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* The position is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and is therefore available to candidates living in The Netherlands or willing to relocate.

Optional Qualifications & Competencies:

* Experience with Mozilla/XUL and knowledge of web 2.0 APIs and services is a major plus
* Deep grasp of object-oriented & large-scale software methods and principles
* Advanced XML experience
* Advanced AJAX experience
* Experience with graphic design/layout
* Working knowledge of information design, web usability and navigation standards
* Expert knowledge of PHP and Mozilla/XUL
